High School Programs
Multiple Dates
We offer two core programs for high school groups: High School Journeys, as well as a summer CALM Peaks program (Career and Life Management 20). Our programs use the unique lens of land-based learning, in combination with the amplification of community voices, as tools to help youth understand their place in the world.

Educator PD
Multiple Dates
Our Educator Professional Development programs aim to help educators redraw the boundaries of what they feel is possible in their classrooms and leave them feeling personally enriched and reconnected to the land. Through a land based and relationship-centered experience, learn how to support your students in finding their voice, and meaningfully weave this unique experiential approach into your own teaching practice! -
Youth Explorations
Multiple Dates
Howl Experiences are unique land-based programs that provide an opportunity for youth (17 - 35) to build meaningful connections with the land, with peers, and get inspired about next steps to make their place in community. Through outdoor adventure, learning with Elders and Knowledge Keepers, and hands-on activities, these programs explore themes of personal and community wellbeing, reconciliation, connecting with ecosystems, and community identity restoration, preservation and protection.

Howl Micro-Grant Program
Rolling application deadline
Thanks to funding from Canada Service Corps, we are offering micro-grants of up to $5000 for innovative youth-led service projects. This is an opportunity for youth to take ownership of an issue, propose a solution and implement change at a local level.
Additional funding is available to eligible youth for additional training support to participate in a Howl Exploration.
Howl is committed to Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.
The people behind Howl recognized that the programs that we offer are only one part of acting on Reconciliation. The structure of our organization serves as a teaching tool itself and is continuously evolving to meet the needs of individuals and communities. Howl is committed to being an organization that Indigenous youth, Elders, community members and service providers feel good about working with.
